This course is suitable for children aged 2–4 years.

At this Busy Minds course you can expect:

  • Simple Physical Tasks: Stirring, mixing, sprinkling, rolling dough, pouring ingredients, pressing and reaching all helping to build gross motor strength, balance, and coordination.
  • Safe Tools: Child-safe knives, bowls, and utensils designed for small hands.
  • Learning: Basic kitchen safety, healthy eating, following instructions, and sensory exploration.
  • Movement & Coordination: Activities that involve whole-arm movements, standing, stretching, and controlled body movements to support core strength and physical confidence.
  • Tasting: Children enjoy eating the food they help create.
  • Group Fun: Sharing, turn-taking, working together, and developing confidence in a social setting.

Adults support and guide their child throughout the session, making it a positive bonding experience.

Sessions may include themed activities and focus on being fun, active, and educational, supporting early physical development alongside creativity and learning.
